Will applying affect my credit score?
Through Cherry, patients are able to check eligibility without a hard credit inquiry (meaning no impact on credit score). Depending on the financing provider and plan selected, a hard credit inquiry may later be necessary in the approval process. PatientFi’s approval process may also include a credit review.
Each lending partner’s policies will differ. Refer to their terms and conditions for complete details regarding credit score impact.
Can I finance surgery and injectable treatments?
Yes. We allow for financing for all services, including surgical procedures, injectables, dermal fillers, and laser treatments.
Is there a minimum amount I must meet to qualify for financing?
Financing minimums vary by partner and program. During the application process, you will have a chance to review available options based on your treatment cost and approval terms.
Can I use more than one financing option?
In some cases, patients may qualify for multiple financing solutions or choose to combine financing with another form of payment. Our team can help you create a payment plan that works best for your goals and circumstances.
Can I pay off my financing early?
Yes. Both Cherry and PatientFi allow early payoff, and neither charges prepayment penalties. Paying off your balance early may help reduce the total cost of financing, depending on your plan.
Do I need to finalize financing before scheduling my procedure?
Not necessarily. Many patients apply after their consultation once they have finalized their treatment plan. This is preferred by most, as they will receive a clear cost breakdown during the consultation. However, applying early can help you understand your options and payment obligations sooner, giving you a clearer mind to explore your treatment goals.
How long will I need to stay in Atlanta after my surgery?
Out-of-state patients should plan to stay in town until they complete their first follow up appointment, which usually occurs 5-7 days after your surgery. After this point, we will either clear you to travel or ask you to stay for a few more days.
Once you book your surgery, we will schedule your first post-op appointment, allowing you to plan accordingly.
How many follow-up visits will I need to attend?
Patients will attend 1 or 2 post operative appointments which can take place anywhere between 5-7 days after surgery, depending on the procedure. Additionally, patients will be scheduled for a 6-week, 3-month, and 6-month follow up appointment with our post operative care team.
Do I need to return to your office for all post-operative appointments?
No. You will only need to be in-person for your first post-op appointments which occurs between days 5-7 post-procedure. You can complete your 6-week, 3-month, and 6-month follow up appointments virtually if you prefer, but it is always best to come in person.
How will I know when I can travel home after my procedure?
Dr. Depew and the rest of our staff will assess your recovery progress at your follow-up appointments and weigh it against your travel details. If you are recovering well and only traveling a short distance, we will likely clear you to travel. If you undergo a more complex procedure and have to travel a farther distance, we may have you stay nearby for a few more days.
